Hey, Flames fans! Have you ever wanted to bring your pets to a hockey game? Now is your chance to get a cutout of your furry friends and have them cheer on the Calgary Flames for the rest of the 2021 hockey season. We are pleased to partner with Healthy Paws Forward Veterinary Hospital to bring you “Harvey’s Hounds” - a special pet cutout section at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Proceeds from every pet cutout will be directed to the Cochrane & Area Humane Society through the Calgary Flames Foundation & Healthy Paws Forward Veterinary Hospital. 

Pet Cutouts will be on display in designated areas within the arena, and while there is no guarantee your pet cutout will be visible during the TV broadcast, we will be highlighting the pet cutout section through our various media platforms. Your cutout will also be shipped to you at the end of the season making it a great souvenir or keepsake! There will be a limited number of cutouts available for purchase and all orders will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Photo Submission Guidelines

1. Calgary Flames branded attire only. Third-party branding, including branding on apparel and in photo backgrounds, will be prohibited. Please refrain from wearing opposing NHL team clothing.
2. One pet per cutout. 
3. Lewd, inappropriate, or offensive photos will be strictly prohibited.
4. No commercial advertising, including company names, apparel brands, hashtags, social media handles, phone numbers, logos, slogans, or other branding.
5. Offensive or negative language will not be tolerated including any negative references to the Calgary Flames or opposing NHL teams.
6. Political statements, logos, slogans, or other political content will be prohibited.
7. No names, likenesses, photographs, or other indicia identifying any person without permission.
8. No personal identification such as names, e-mail addresses, license plates, phone numbers, or street addresses.
9. No alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, or firearms / weapons will be allowed.

Note: Your pet's image must fill the entire top section of the cutout with no gaps or spaces. For best results, please place your pet's head as close as possible to the top of the cutout.

Calgary Flames Hockey Club reserves the right to reject any photo that it determines, in its sole discretion, violates these guidelines or is otherwise offensive, lewd, derogatory, infringing, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate including sizing of the image. The Calgary Flames will not be obligated to provide the purchaser a refund if a submitted photo is rejected for any reason. The Calgary Flames have the right to remove cutouts if fans are allowed to return to games or for any reason they deem necessary. All sales are final and refunds will not be provided.

Are there restrictions on what I can wear or display in my cutout?
We highly recommend that you wear Flames branded clothing in your cutout and please adhere to the following rules:

Does my pet photo have to be a dog?
No, photos do not have to be of dogs only. All pets are welcome.

Will I be able to select my seat location?
No. The Location of your cutout is not guaranteed. Cutouts will be placed solely at the discretion of the Calgary Flames.

Will my cutout remain in the same seat all season long?
Our goal is to keep cutouts in the same position, however, due to ongoing changes with broadcast and sponsorship inclusion, cutout locations may change at any given time.

If I order multiple pet cutouts, will they be seated together?
Yes, however, all cutouts must be purchased as part of the same order to be seated together.

Will I know where my pet cutout is sitting and will I get a photo of my cutout?
Yes. We will have a photo gallery of the pet cutout seating section available to view on calgaryflames.com. Please check back regularly as photos will be added throughout the season.

Will my cutout be on TV?
We cannot guarantee that your cutout will be seen on television or as part of any broadcast.

Can there be multiple pets within one image on a pet cutout?
No, please keep it to one pet per cutout.

How will I know if my uploaded photo is NOT accepted?
You will be contacted by FanCutouts if your photo does NOT meet submission guidelines. Please visit the Photo Rules and Guidelines for details.

Will my pet cutout remain in position for the entire season?
Pet cutouts will remain in place as long as AHS guidelines continue to prohibit fans from attending games. If AHS adjusts the COVID Safety guidelines for in-person attendance, cutouts may be (re)moved from the seating bowl to accommodate in-person attendees.

Will I get my pet cutout back at the end of the season?
Yes. If you would like to receive your cutout (Canadian shipping only), we will ship it to you at the end of the 2020-21 NHL Season. A member of the Calgary Flames Customer Service team will contact you at the conclusion of the season to confirm shipping instructions.

Will my pet cutout purchase benefit a charity?
Yes. All proceeds from pet cutouts will be directed to the Cochrane & Area Humane Society.

How can I adopt a pet from the Cochrane & Area Humane Society?
Please visit www.cochranehumane.ca if you are interested in meeting one of the animals. We ask that you please complete an Adopter Profile located in the bio of each animal and submit it to our adoption counsellors at adoption@cochranehumane.ca indicating the animal you are interested in. We will be accepting applications by email only to expedite the process. Our staff will contact potential adopters based on best matches and in the order applications are received to arrange a meet. If the animal you are interested in is no longer available, please consider some of the other animals we have available for adoption.
