Can I have multiple people on one cutout?
No. Cutouts look best when there is only one fan in each cutout. Due to the limited size and contour of each cutout, two people or more on one cutout unfortunately won't fit.
What can I wear in my uploaded pic for the cutout?
Fans are encouraged to wear Radford branded attire. Certain apparel that is not allowed: third-party branding, other NCAA or professional sports teams, lewd, inappropriate or offensive photos, alcohol, illegal drugs or firearms/weapons, political statements or slogans. Can I submit a pic in a military uniform?
Yes.
Can I submit a pic of my pet for my cutout?
Yes. A fan cutout of your pet must be a separate purchase from a cutout of yourself. All pets are welcome!
What happens if my photo is rejected?
Fans will be notified if their photo is rejected and given an opportunity to resubmit if there is an appropriate time prior to the deadline. Radford Athletics will not be obligated to provide the purchaser a refund if a submitted photo is rejected for any reason.
Where will my fan cutout be located?
Cutouts will be placed inside the venue of your choice where they will be visible to our student-athletes. If in the Dedmon Center, the cutout will remain in the arena until the conclusion of basketball season. If an outdoor stadium, cutouts will be removed and replaced between each home game, severe-weather permitting.
What if I select more than one venue?
You will have the option to select an additional venue to place your cutout in for the spring season. A member of the Radford Athletics staff will be in touch via email shortly after your purchase to confirm your preference on a second venue.
Will multiple cutouts in the same order be sat together?
Placement is not guaranteed, but Radford Athletics will try to put cutouts that are on the same order next to each other in the stadium, based on section availability. If you place an order with multiple cutouts, but select different options (i.e. some have shipping and some don't) they will not be sat together.
How is the team going to let me know where to find my cutout?
*Dedmon Center Cutouts Only: a photograph of each section will be taken and placed on RadfordAthletics.com/FanCutouts. Each section will be identified with a range of order numbers to assist you in finding your appropriate section. Click here and find your cutout(s).
Will my cutout be on TV?
We cannot guarantee that your cutout will be seen on television or as part of any broadcast. We will be featuring the majority of the cutouts on social media at some point throughout the season.
Do I get my fan cutout back and if so how?
- LOCAL PICK-UP: At the end of the spring semester, Radford Athletics will hold one or more pick-up events, when fans will be invited to the Dedmon Center to pick-up their cutouts and take them home. The date of these events is TBD, but most likely in early summer 2021.
- SHIPPING: If you paid the $25 to have your FanCutout shipped to you, the cutout will be mailed following the conclusion of the 2021 spring semester. Details will be provided via email closer to the shipping date. Please allow 2-4 weeks for arrival.
Is my purchase tax-deductible?
A portion will be considered tax-deductible. Documentation will be mailed at the conclusion of the spring semester confirming the appropriate amount that is tax-deductible.
Where do you direct the proceeds from fan cutouts?
The net proceeds will go to the Highlander Club Annual Fund in support of our 275 student-athletes and applied to critical areas including scholarship, academic support, athletic training and nutrition.
What if the season gets delayed or cancelled?
All payments made are final and in no event shall such payments be refunded for any reason, including but not limited to the delay, suspension or early termination of the 2020 or 2021 seasons.
