BSO Salute from Your Seat! Fan Cutouts

Our community can bring a light, and applause, to our concert hall in a unique way this year: show up for Marin Alsop on her final concert as Music Director with Salute From Your Seat! Help us fill every one of the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall’s 2,443 seats by joining our cardboard audience.
Official BSO Watch Party Groups get a shout-out on social media and in the Commemorative Festival program!
- We will be ‘seating’ groups of 5+ together and you can create or join an existing one.
- To start your own Official BSO Watch Party Group, gather five friends and email lsnortland@bsomusic.org to create a group that will be listed in the drop down menu.
All proceeds go to support OrchKids, the BSO’s Year-round, during, and after school music program designed to create social change and nurture promising futures for youth in Baltimore City.
Participation includes a commemorative program for The Marin Festival and a boost to your "Gala experience” with virtual invitations to community events and vendor partners.
All orders will be verified by the BSO.
Purchase by June 11 at noon to see your cutout during the gala event on June 19!
Photo Submission Guidelines
- No commercial advertising, including company names, apparel brands, hashtags, social media handles, phone numbers, logos, slogans, or other branding.
- No third-party branding, including branding on apparel and in photo backgrounds, except for Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, BSYO, or OrchKids.
- No offensive or negative comments about the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra or others.
- No personal identification such as names, e-mail addresses, license plates, phone numbers, or street addresses.
- No names, likenesses, photographs, or other indicia identifying any person without permission.
- No political statements, logos, slogans, or other political content.
- No illegal drugs, tobacco, or firearms/weapons.
- No lewd, inappropriate, or offensive photos.
- Your image must fill the entire top section of the cutout with no gaps or spaces or it is likely to be rejected. For best results, place your head as close as possible to the top of the cutout.
The BSO reserves the right to reject any photo that it determines, in its sole discretion, violates these guidelines or is otherwise offensive, lewd, derogatory, infringing, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate including sizing of the image. The BSO will not be obligated to provide the purchaser a refund if a submitted photo is rejected for any reason. All cutouts may be removed at the discretion of the BSO for any reason they deem necessary. All sales are final – no refunds.

Where will my fan cutout be located?
Your cutout will be in a seat in The Joseph Meyerhoff Concert Hall, by June 19!
Can I submit a pic in a military uniform?
yes
Can I have multiple people on one cutout?
no
Can I submit a pic of my pet for my cutout?
Yes, if they love the BSO as much as you!
Will multiple cutouts in the same order be sat together?
Placement is not guaranteed, but if you purchase multiple fan cutouts in the same transaction as a Group, you will be installed together in the stands. If you place an order with multiple cutouts but select different options (i.e. some have shipping and some don't) they will not be sat together.
How is the BSO going to let me know where to find my cutout?
Your group will be featured in Salute From Your Seat pictures that will be posted online, and Groups will be photographed together and shared on social media.
Do I get my fan cutout back and if so how?
You can pick up your cutout at either Baltimore or Strathmore venues at a time you will be invited to reserve.
Is my purchase tax-deductible? If so, how will the BSO or charity send me written confirmation?
Following the event, you will receive a letter with the portion of the purchase that is tax-deductible.
