Virginia baseball and softball fans have helped to create one of the best home-field advantages at Disharoon Park and at Palmer Park. Virginia Baseball and Softball supporters now have the opportunity to purchase “Hoos in the Crowd” fan cutouts to be put on display this season for home games! Fan cutouts are on sale for $75 for both sports.

FAN CUTOUT LOCATION AND SHIPPING / PICK-UP INFORMATION

Fans who purchase cutouts will have the opportunity to pick them up at the conclusion of the season. Fans may also choose to have the cutout shipped to them at the end of the season by selecting the cutout shipping option. In addition, 10 cutouts will be randomly selected to be autographed by head coach Brian O’Connor or Joanna Hardin!

All proceeds from Hoos in the Crowd fan Baseball cutouts will support the Virginia Baseball program and proceeds from Softball fan cutouts will support the Virginia Softball program.

Photo Submission Guidelines

1. Images for cutouts must include Virginia-branded attire.  No third-party branding, including branding on apparel and in photo backgrounds. No attire or branding of other NCAA or professional sports teams. Images must not include advertising or promotion, including company names/logos, apparel trademarks/logos, hashtags, social media handles, or phone numbers.
2. Images of current or former student-athletes will be subject to further review from the department of athletics.
3. Cutouts that feature offensive or negative comments will be rejected. 
4. Cutouts may not include personal identification such as names, e-mail addresses, license plates, phone numbers, or street addresses.
5. Cutouts may not include names, likenesses, photographs, or other indicia identifying any person without permission. By uploading an image, you represent and warrant that you own the right and permission to use the likeness of any person depicted, and you grant the right to use that image in the Cutout to Fan Cutouts and Virginia Athletics.
6. Cutouts may not include political statements, logos, slogans, or other political content.
7. Cutouts may not include or promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, or firearms/weapons.
8. No lewd, inappropriate, or offensive photos.
9. Your image must fill the entire top section of the cutout with no gaps or spaces or it is likely to be rejected.  For best results, place your head as close as possible to the top of the cutout.  
10. Fans will be afforded the opportunity to pick-up their cutouts from Virginia Athletics or have them mailed at the end of the season.

Virginia Athletics reserves the right to reject any photo that it determines, in its sole discretion, violates these guidelines or is otherwise offensive, lewd, derogatory, infringing, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate including sizing of the image. Virginia Athletics will not be obligated to provide the purchaser a refund if a submitted photo is rejected for violation of these rules.  Cutouts may be removed at the discretion of Virginia Athletics for any reason, including if capacity at Disharoon Park and/or Palmer Park should change at any point during the season.  All sales are final – no refunds.

FAQ

Where will my fan cutout be located?
Cutouts will be placed in the best available seat locations by Virginia Athletics staff based on when orders are received.

Can I submit a pic in a military uniform?
Yes, UVA Athletics will allow uniformed military personnel to wear their uniform in their picture. Nothing about the inclusion of a military uniform implies affiliation with, or endorsement by, any agency, branch, office or other instrumentality of the United States.

Can I have multiple people on one cutout?
No. One person per cutout is preferred.

Can I submit a pic of my pet for my cutout?
Yes, but a cutout of your pet must be a separate cutout of a picture of yourself.

Will multiple cutouts in the same order be sat together?
Placement is not guaranteed but if you purchase multiple fan cutouts in the same transaction you will be installed together in the stands. If you place an order with multiple cutouts but select different options (i.e. some have shipping and some don't) they will not be sat together.

How is the team going to let me know where to find my cutout?
Fans who order cutouts will receive an email with the seat location(s) of the cutout(s).

Do I get my fan cutout back and if so how?
Yes, fans will have an opportunity to pick-up their cutout(s) at the conclusion of the season. Fans may also choose to pay an additional $20 and Virginia Athletics will ship the cutout to the address associated with the purchase at the conclusion of the 2020-21 spring sports season.

Is my purchase tax-deductible? If so, how will the team or charity send me written confirmation?
No, fan cutouts are considered to be a merchandise purchase and are not tax-deductible.

What can I wear in my uploaded pic for the cutout?
Fans can use any photo with Virginia branded attire. Certain apparel that is not allowed: third-party branding, other NCAA teams, lewd, inappropriate or offensive photos, alcohol, illegal drugs or firearms/weapons, political statements or slogans. In addition, photos of current or former Virginia student-athletes are not permitted. Please see UVA’s Cutout rules.

Where do you direct the proceeds from fan cutouts?
All proceeds from the baseball fan cutouts will support the Virginia baseball program and those from softball fan cutouts will support the Virginia softball program.
