Hey, Hitmen fans! The 2021 hockey season is certainly unique, and we most definitely miss hosting fans in person at Calgary Hitmen home games. That’s why we are pleased to offer a special opportunity to be part of the crowd at the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex on the Tsuut’ina Nation by purchasing a Fan Cutout. Submit a photo of yourself, a family member, or a friend and have your cutout displayed at Hitmen home games. Proceeds from every fan cutout will be directed to Youth Programs on the Tsuut’ina Nation.

Fan Cutouts will be on display in designated areas within the arena, and while there is no guarantee your fan cutout will be visible on the WHL Live webcast, we will be highlighting the fan cutout sections through our various media platforms. Your cutout can also be picked up at the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex at the end of the Hitmen season making it a great souvenir or keepsake! There will be a limited number of cutouts available for purchase and all orders will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Photo Submission Guidelines

1. Calgary Hitmen branded attire only. Third-party branding, including branding on apparel and in photo backgrounds, will be prohibited. Please refrain from wearing opposing WHL team clothing.
2. One person per cutout.
3. Lewd, inappropriate, or offensive photos will be strictly prohibited.
4. No commercial advertising, including company names, apparel brands, hashtags, social media handles, phone numbers, logos, slogans, or other branding.
5. Offensive or negative language will not be tolerated including any negative references to the Calgary Hitmen or opposing WHL teams.
6. Political statements, logos, slogans, or other political content will be prohibited.
7. No names, likenesses, photographs, or other indicia identifying any person without permission.
8. No personal identification such as names, e-mail addresses, license plates, phone numbers, or street addresses.
9. No alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, or firearms / weapons will be allowed.

NOTE: Your image must fill the entire top section of the cutout with no gaps or spaces. For best results, place your head as close as possible to the top of the cutout.

Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club reserves the right to reject any photo that it determines, in its sole discretion, violates these guidelines or is otherwise offensive, lewd, derogatory, infringing, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate including sizing of the image. The Calgary Hitmen will not be obligated to provide the purchaser a refund if a submitted photo is rejected for any reason. The Calgary Hitmen have the right to remove cutouts if fans are allowed to return to games or for any reason they deem necessary. All sales are final and refunds will not be provided.

FAQ

Are there restrictions on what I can wear or display in my cutout?
We highly recommend that you wear Hitmen branded clothing in your cutout and please adhere to the following rules:

The Calgary Hitmen reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to refuse any photos. Images that portray obscene, lewd, explicit, discriminatory, derogatory, violent, offensive, infringing or otherwise inappropriate content are strictly prohibited and will be discarded. How will I receive my link to WHL Live?
Upon completion of purchasing your cutout, you will receive a separate email within 24hrs that will contain your link to WHL Live so you can live stream Calgary Hitmen games.

Will I be able to select my seat location?
No. Location of your cutout is not guaranteed. Cutouts will be placed solely at the discretion of the Calgary Hitmen in the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex.

Will my cutout remain in the same seat all season long?
Our goal is to keep cutouts in the same position, however cutout locations may change at any given time.

If I order multiple fan cutouts, will they be seated together?
Yes, however all cutouts must be purchased as part of the same order to be seated together.

Will my cutout be on WHL Live?
We cannot guarantee that your cutout will be seen on live stream via WHL Live.

Can there be multiple people within one image on a fan cutout?
No, please keep it to one Calgary Hitmen fan per cutout.

How will I know if my uploaded photo is NOT accepted?
You will be contacted by FanCutouts if your photo does NOT meet submission guidelines. Please visit the Photo Rules and Guidelines for details.

Will my fan cutout remain in position for the entire season?
Fan cutouts will remain in place as long as AHS guidelines continue to prohibit fans from attending games. If AHS adjusts the COVID Safety guidelines for in-person attendance, cutouts may be (re)moved from the seating area to accommodate in person attendees.

Will I get my fan cutout back at the end of the season?
Yes. If you would like to receive your cutout(s) it will be available for pick up at the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex on the Tsuut’ina Nation at the end of the 2021 WHL Season. You will be contacted by the Calgary Hitmen at the end of the season with pick up dates and times.

Will my fan cutout purchase benefit a charity?
Yes. All proceeds from the Calgary Hitmen Fan Cutout program will be directed to Youth Programs on the Tsuut’ina Nation.

What are the photo submission guidelines?
