Order your DAR Congress Cut Out to be placed in a seat at DAR Constitution Hall during the 130th Continental Congress. Orders placed within the same transaction will be seated together and included within the Official DAR Congress Cut Out photos. So, plan now to “attend” the 130th Continental Congress with your chapter friends, committee mates, and faraway friends!

Reserved Sections

Page Cutouts will be placed along the aisles in traditional fashion. You may only purchase a Page Cutout on this site. All cutouts purchased here will be placed with other Pages and have a white border. If you wish to purchase non-Page cutouts for this year's Congress, click HERE.

Congress members who wish to sponsor a cutout for a Page may do so by selecting the drop-down option “Yes I want to sponsor a Page + $130”.

To sponsor a specific Page, you MUST type the Page’s name and email address in the cutout builder (when you upload your photo) in the notes section. If you do not indicate the name and proper email address, your sponsorship will be put into a pool to sponsor Pages selected by the National Page Chair.

Photo Submission Guidelines

1. Proper Congress attire is requested, including pins and sashes as appropriate.
2. No personal identification is allowed unless your photo includes a conference name badge.
3. No names, likenesses, photographs, or other indicia identifying any person without permission
4. When ordering a Cut Out for your ancestors include the highest resolution possible as the photo will become blurry as it is enlarged.
5. Your image must fill the entire top section of the cutout with no gaps or spaces or it may be rejected. For best results, place your head as close as possible to the top of the cutout.
6. Location of your cutout is not guaranteed – but we will make every attempt to place the cutouts appropriately.
7. Cut Out orders placed in the same transaction will be seated together.

NSDAR reserves the right to reject any photo that it determines, in its sole discretion, violates these guidelines or is otherwise inappropriate including sizing of the image. NSDAR will not be obligated to provide the purchaser a refund if a submitted photo is rejected for any reason. All cutouts may be relocated or removed at the discretion of NSDAR should Daughters be present in Constitution Hall for certain “live” events during the 130th Continental Congress or for any reason deemed necessary. All sales are final – no refunds.

FAQ

How is the placement of my Congress Cut Out determined?
Select DAR Congress Cutouts will be placed in sections reserved for:

• State Regents and their Guests;
• President General’s Project Benefactors and Patriots and
• Pages
• The remaining DAR Congress Cutouts will be placed randomly throughout DAR Constitution Hall auditorium. Orders placed within the same transaction will be seated together.

Can I submit a photo in a military uniform?
Yes! We would be honored to include you or your ancestor in uniform.

Can I have multiple people on one DAR Congress Cut Out?
One person per cutout is highly recommended.

Can I submit a photo of a non-member for a Congress Cut Out?
Since seating is limited, the Congress Cut Out offer is currently only open to DAR members and their ancestors. We will make an announcement if and when we are able to open additional seating.

How will DAR let me know where to find my cutout?
Your transaction number provided on your order will correspond with the numerical sequence on the Congress Cut Out Photo page. Check our website during Congress for more information regarding locating your cutout.

Will multiple DAR Congress Cutouts in the same order be seated together?
Yes. Although placement is not guaranteed, if you purchase multiple DAR Congress Cutouts in the same transaction you will be seated together in DAR Constitution Hall.

Do I get my DAR Congress Cutout back after Congress and if so how?
All DAR Congress Cutouts will be removed from DAR Constitution Hall at the conclusion of the 130th Continental Congress and recycled. No DAR Congress Cutouts stationed in DAR Constitution Hall will be available for shipping or pickup. All purchases of “Additional DAR Congress Cutouts” will be mailed directly to your home.

Can I add to my gift?
Yes! Additional donations in support of the President General’s Project so that we can complete the vital restoration of our National Headquarters are greatly appreciated! You will have the option to do so during checkout.

Does this count toward my PG Pin and Heritage Club totals?
Your $130 gift for the DAR Congress Cut Out counts toward your Heritage Club levels as well as pin minimum totals for the President General’s Project Pin and the President General’s VanBuren Patriot Pin. Orders totaling $300 or more in the same transaction qualify for an inscription on the President General’s “The Next Act” Donor Wall for the donor initiating the order. Orders totaling $1,250 or more in the same transaction qualify for the President General’s Benefactor status for the donor initiating the order.

Is my purchase tax-deductible?
$92 of every $130 transaction is tax-deductible. The remaining $38 covers the cost of printing and placement of each DAR Congress Cut Out. Details will be included on your donation acknowledgment letter received from DAR.
“Additional DAR Congress Cutouts” purchased in order to be mailed directly to your home are not considered donations.
